Africa has serious issues of sustainability such as inaccessibility to renewable energy, infrastructural loopholes, and climaterelated hazards among others pressing on the need to explore investment alternatives beyond conventional funding strategies. The study examines how private equity can stimulate the process of sustainable development by using ESGoriented investment approaches, finances to build renewable energy, climate finance schemes, and social impact. The research strategy is a secondary research, which examines the literature, institutional reports and industry evidence using thematic analysis. The research finds out four key dimensions that determine sustainable private equity investments, namely, the development of the investment ecosystem, ESG integration, and the opportunities of renewable energy and the creation of social impact. Discussing these results, a conceptual Private Equity Sustainability Framework is suggested to relate financial investment choices to environmental and societal consequences. The study notes that a sustainable change in Africa particularly through the impact of the private equity may foster sustainable practices of investments, a stronger resilience of infrastructure, and facilitation of long-term environmental and social advantages.
